Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to design, implement, and sustain secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure for the DISA O&M program. You will lead Tier 3 activities, automate infrastructure, and guide modernization efforts in DoD mission-critical systems.

US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required. Fort Meade, MD location; salary range $155,000–$170,000 with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
US Citizenship required.
12+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Collaborate with security, operations, and architecture teams to meet DoD standards.
Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost of cloud environments.
