Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a cloud-native, microservices-driven engineering organization. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, observability, and developer experience, with a hybrid schedule in Knoxville, TN.

You will collaborate across development, QA, and platform teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, manage Terraform-based infrastructure across AWS and Azure, and ensure high availability and scalability of a cloud-native

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Familiarity with logging, metrics, and tracing (New Relic, CloudWatch).
• Experience managing AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of secure DevOps practices and IAM.
• Cross-functional collaboration with developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform across AWS and Azure.
• Enable observability and monitoring with New Relic and logging pipelines.
• Provide containerization guidance with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD, monitoring, and security into workflows.
