Job summary

EOA Technologies in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead enterprise cloud solutions in Azure and Microsoft 365. You will design hybrid and multi-region environments, manage large migrations, and enforce governance and security policies.

Responsibilities include IaC implementation with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, and PowerShell DSC, along with mentoring junior engineers and staying current with roadmap changes to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Two cloud certifications beyond fundamentals (Azure or AWS).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud solutions design, implementation, and sustainment in Azure and M365.
• Architect and deploy hybrid and multi-region Azure environments.
• Lead M365 integrations with AAD, SSO, Conditional Access, and Defender.
• Plan large-scale migrations from on-premises to Azure and M365.
• Implement IaC using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or PowerShell DSC.
• Establish cloud governance, cost optimization, tagging, and policies.
• Provide tier-3 escalation support for Azure/M365 issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and support training.
• Stay current with Azure/M365 roadmap and improvements.
