Job summary

Insurify is seeking a Senior Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design and manage scalable, secure cloud environments. You will architect compute, storage, networking, and implement Terraform-based infrastructure as code while aligning with cost, security, and compliance goals.

You will collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 2 years on AWS
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect or similar) is a plus
• Strong experience automating infrastructure using Terraform
• Proficiency in AWS security and networking (VPC, subnets, VPN, security groups)
• Proven cost optimization experience in cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable AWS cloud environments (compute, storage, networking)
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform
• Ensure security, availability, and compliance best practices in AWS environments
• Analyze and optimize AWS usage to reduce costs while maintaining performance
• Design and implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure health
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and promote best practices across the team
