Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer to advance our cloud and infrastructure platforms, championing automation-first strategies across AWS environments. You will architect landing zones, define secure IaC patterns, and lead Terraform module design while mentoring teams in CI/CD and deployment automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing AWS platform and infrastructure.
• Proven experience with Terraform, GitHub, and AWS.
• Hands-on IAM policy and security governance experience.
• Experience with VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, compute, storage, and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Architect AWS landing zone and manage with account vending automation.
• Architect automated, modular cloud hosting frameworks.
• Establish IaC governance using Terraform and GitHub pipelines.
• Design reusable Terraform modules and IaC standards for secure provisioning.
• Develop and maintain least-privilege IAM policies, roles, and permission boundaries across AWS accounts.
• Design and manage AWS network infrastructure (VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT, gateways, SGs, NACLs).
• Support AWS data & AI platforms (S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Redshift, EMR, SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Lead containerization and automated deployments; drive platform upgrades with automated compliance policies.
• Benchmark cloud services and propose cost-efficient alternatives; define availability and cost guardrails.
