Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions in Maryland is seeking a cloud-savvy Software Engineer with TS/SCI polygraph to design, deploy, and maintain complex, cloud-native architectures on AWS using Terraform. You will containerize microservices with Kubernetes or ECS, automate deployment pipelines, and derive clear technical requirements through cross-team collaboration.

This role targets high-availability government-grade software that scales with analytics workloads. Active clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience OR 5+ years of specialized software development experience with a Master’s degree.
11+ years hands-on software engineering and cloud deployment experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native software architectures on AWS using Terraform.
Containerize microservices with Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
Derive software requirements from system specifications via cross-team collaboration.
Develop software within Agile/Scrum teams for high-availability systems.
