United States Digital Space LLC in London is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to design, build and operate enterprise-scale AWS platforms within highly regulated environments.

You will work with a range of AWS services, implement Landing Zones with Terraform, and guide customers through complex cloud transformations alongside senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior AWS Engineer with AWS Landing Zone experience who has built, tested, packaged, deployed and operated enterprise-scale AWS platforms.
• Experience building AWS Landing Zones and understanding benefits/challenges of a centralised platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through complex cloud transformations and deliver best-in-class AWS platforms, operating models and security models.
• Work with a wide range of AWS services to build solutions for customers.
• Build AWS resources using Terraform.
• Mitigate security risks in cloud environments.

Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) - (Multiple)

Location: Central London – Hybrid - circa 3 days onsite in Central London

Salary: £70,000 - £95,000

Defence/SC Clearance Requirements: Due to working with a number of government bodies, SC clearance is required for our customer facing teams. You do not need active SC clearance as we will undertake checks upon you joining, but you must be eligible to pass SC clearance. In future, DV clearance may be required, so the ability/willingness to pass DV clearance is advantageous but not essential.

Due to the nature of this project we are only able to accept UK based applicants for this role

What we’re looking for

We are looking for Senior AWS Engineers with AWS Landing Zone experience who have built, tested packaged, deployed and operated enterprise-scale AWS platforms, along with understanding the challenges of managing a multi-tenant platform and how SRE principles can be applied.

We are also looking for experience of building AWS Landing Zones with a strong understanding of the benefits to our customers of using a centralised platform, along with understanding some of the common challenges.

What you’ll be doing

You will be working closely with our customers’ senior stakeholders, leading them through complex cloud transformations, using your experience and expertise to deliver best-in-class AWS platforms, operating models and security models.

• Working with a wide range of AWS services to build best-in-class solutions for our customers
• Building AWS resources using Terraform
• Building solutions to mitigate some of the key security risks that are present when operating in the cloud
• Operating cloud platforms at scale within highly regulated environments
• Working with continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines
