Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and operate cloud-native services in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with engineers across Fidelity to deliver reliable microservices and mentor junior team members.

The role is based in Merrimack, NH or Durham, NC and emphasizes Java/Spring Boot, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD practices to influence architecture and delivery across Fidelity’s tech platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years building RESTful microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Native development with Terraform and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize cloud-native services used across Fidelity.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other engineers to deliver reliable systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices for software development.
