Job summary

Solvd, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our AI-native consulting and technology services practice in the United States.

You will architect scalable AWS environments, lead modernizing infrastructure as code from CloudFormation to TypeScript, and collaborate with a payments platform client to deliver secure, resilient solutions. You will combine deep AWS knowledge with software engineering fundamentals, strong communication, and delivery skills, mentoring teammates and sharing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture and implementation experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency with testing (Jest or similar).
• Hands-on IaC experience at scale with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of CloudFormation IaC to TypeScript (AWS CDK).
• Design scalable, secure AWS architectures based on client requirements.
• Drive delivery with AWS services and ensure reliability and security.
• Plan and execute gameday drills and resilience testing using AWS FIS.
