Job summary

Coaction Specialty Insurance Group is seeking an AWS-focused Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and cost-efficiency with a hands-on, execution‑oriented approach.

The engineer will lead cloud initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with internal teams and MSPs to deliver high‑quality cloud services. A strong security posture and incident readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of cloud engineering with AWS.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• SDLC, DevOps, and Agile project management experience.
• AWS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Operate Azure workloads as supporting capacity.
• Monitor and optimize AWS services for performance, security and cost.
• Ensure cloud security, governance, and compliance.
