Job summary

BTI in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to serve as lead architect for AWS cloud environments, supporting cloud landing zone, migrations, and modernization.

You will design infrastructure, deploy solutions, ensure security and governance, automate processes, and provide operational support while guiding stakeholders on AWS best practices. This role requires senior-level experience in enterprise infra and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty cert.
• 10+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• 5+ years supporting AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with cloud migration, automation, security, and governance.
• Demonstrated experience leading cloud modernization initiatives.

BTI is currently searching for a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to fulfill the roles and responsibilities below:

The Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) serves as the lead architect and engineer for AWS cloud environments supporting the BLS Cloud Landing Zone and cloud migration initiatives. Responsibilities include cloud architecture design, infrastructure deployment, systems integration, cloud security implementation, governance, automation, migration planning, and operational support. The AWS Cloud Engineer provides technical leadership for cloud modernization efforts and advises Government stakeholders on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification.
