Job summary

BTI in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) to serve as lead architect for AWS cloud environments, supporting cloud landing zone, migrations, and modernization.

You will design infrastructure, deploy solutions, ensure security and governance, automate processes, and provide operational support while guiding stakeholders on AWS best practices. This role requires senior-level experience in enterprise infra and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field.
AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty cert.
10+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
5+ years supporting AWS cloud technologies.
Experience with cloud migration, automation, security, and governance.
Demonstrated experience leading cloud modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture design for AWS cloud environments.
Deploy infrastructure and integrate systems in the cloud.
Implement cloud security, governance, and automation practices.
Plan migrations and provide operational support.
Advise stakeholders on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
