Job summary

RTX's CAS Airports Cloud Engineering team invites a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize AWS environments supporting passenger processing, airport operations and baggage systems globally.

You will implement infrastructure as code with CloudFormation, PowerShell, and Terraform, handling documentation, collaboration with cybersecurity, and deployment strategies. This hybrid, U.S.-based role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AWS cloud environments for CAS Airports products.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using CloudFormation, PowerShell, Terraform.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures and deployments.
• Collaborate with CAS Cybersecurity to meet security and compliance standards.
• Work with Cloud Architects and engineers on proofs‑of‑concepts and deployment strategies.
• Support DevSecOps practices and PCI DSS compliance with evidence and QSA coordination.
• Provide 3rd‑level engineering support for cloud‑deployed CAS Airports systems.
