Job summary

Kforce, in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and platform solutions in enterprise environments. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions in production environments.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, or software development.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments.

Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, or software development
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments
• Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, virtualization, storage, security, and access management concepts
• Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate effectively across teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
