Job summary

Anakim Consulting in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong IaC experience in an AWS enterprise cloud environment. This on-site role requires collaboration across DevSecOps teams throughout the full software lifecycle, with preferred background in image processing or satellite ground systems.

You will design, implement, and maintain software components, lead solution development, and contribute to testing, documentation, and system-level reviews in a fast-paced DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience in distributed/cloud-native environments.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C/C++, Perl and scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and AWS-based DevOps.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, and containerization skills.
• Ability to contribute to design reviews and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components for complex systems.
• Lead or contribute to solutions development from design through deployment.
• Support full SDLC including planning, requirements, testing, and reporting.
• Develop and execute unit/integration/system tests and quality reports.
• Manage changes per Configuration Management processes and standards.
• Document architectures and practices for maintainability.
• Participate in design and code reviews and cross-functional collaboration.
• Adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced DevSecOps team.
