Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Computing Engineer to lead secure, automated software delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure for DoD mission systems, with a focus on AWS services including AppStream 2.0 and Keycloak integration.

The role requires technical leadership, architecture definition, and mentorship of engineers, delivering scalable, compliant cloud solutions across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 14+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s with 12+ years; or PhD/JD with 4+ years.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI-Poly.
• Extensive hands-on cloud engineering/DevSecOps experience with strong AWS focus.
• Experience with identity and access management using Keycloak.
• Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior DevSecOps/Cloud engineering for AWS-based solutions in IL5+ and classified environments.
• Define cloud-native architectures, deployment patterns, and CI/CD strategies aligned with DoD SRG and RMF.
• Provide technical guidance, design reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Engineer AppStream 2.0 environments: image creation, fleet/stack config, access models, scaling, and IdP integration.
• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines for apps and AppStream-backed workloads.
• Integrate automated build, test, code quality, and deployment stages across dev/test/stage/prod.
• Design and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
