VISUAL SOFT, INC. is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, automate, deploy, and maintain mission-critical cloud infrastructure in a classified AWS environment.

The role requires Top Secret clearance and is fully onsite in Huntsville, AL. Candidates should have deep AWS, Terraform, Linux, and Agile/Scrum experience, and a proven track record building secure, scalable DevSecOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience is required.
• Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer with AWS, Terraform, Linux, and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience in classified AWS environments and security/compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Terraform (IaC).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Administer Linux-based systems for high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop automation scripts with Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure networking, VPCs, IAM, security groups, and encryption policies in AWS.
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and improve release cycles.
• Monitor production systems with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery.
• Support accreditation and compliance under DoD/IC security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of DevOps workflows.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical cloud infrastructure in a classified AWS environment. This is a fully onsite role in Huntsville, AL, supporting national security and defense programs that demand strict adherence to security and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in AWS cloud services, Terraform infrastructure as code, Linux system administration, and Agile/Scrum practices, with a proven track record in building scalable, secure, and automated DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.

• Support accreditation and compliance activities under DoD/IC security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps workflows.
