Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure, with emphasis on AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code. The role is US-based, ideally in Lowell, MA or Detroit, MI, onsite, and part of a high-performance team delivering reliable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of DevOps, SRE, PE or infrastructure engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Implement GitOps practices using Flux or Argo CD.
• Own Kubernetes as a Service (KaaS) platforms, including multi-cluster lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex traffic flows and optimize cloud networking.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Automate provisioning with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Write and maintain IaC and configuration as code with Terraform.
• Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and availability.
• Integrate third-party tools and internal scripts as needed.
• Create runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business needs.
