A Day in the Life

As a Senior Engineer, you will work executes as a Cloud engineering expert for the OMS (Order Management System) Platform team. You will be counted on as a leader in the Cloud Infrastructure team, as you contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre‑production to production). This engineer primarily focuses on engineering related to.XML automating platform capabilities: cloud account management, landing zone and network connectivity, and automation of infrastructure builds. You will also contribute to cost optimization opportunities and cybersecurity efforts.

As a Senior Engineer, you will dedicate a fair amount of time to the planning and discovery of tools and practices inside your given area of expertise. You will apply that knowledge by working closely with other team engineers, architects, and product managers to promote platform‑level change. You will take production readiness and performance personally and help drive continuous improvement. You will be part of a day‑to‑day production release team and will perform limited on‑call support functions as needed from time to time. You will be considered a key team member of OMS Cloud Infra team and work on and focus on how your product(s) are delivered and how to optimize them for efficiency, security, and reliability.

• Work with architects and contribute towards AWS cloud infra roadmaps, IaC Pipeline, security, reliability, supporting multiple environments.

• Contribute to engineering automation, management, or development of production‑level systems.
• Review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for a set of production systems.
