Job summary

Senior Cloud Developer/Engineer at CACI will design and sustain secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP. You’ll implement IaC, automate across PowerShell and Python, and collaborate with security teams to meet mission objectives.

You will apply security best practices and governance while advancing cloud solutions that bolster threat detection and resilience. This role requires handling complex environments and supporting critical missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• 5–7 years of cloud engineering experience with a strong focus on Azure and AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ additional years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud solutions using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeStar, or Docker.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code technologies including ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
• Familiarity with cloud template technologies such as Azure Resource Manager, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, and architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
• Strong automation background using PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON, or Ansible.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification within six months (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot cloud issues and uphold cloud security best practices.
• Strengthen security posture using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
• Build and maintain automations using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, YAML, JSON, and Logic Apps/Automation/Functions.
• Configure and optimize NSGs, application gateways, and network controls.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across multiple clouds.
• Apply security standards and compliance with cross‑functional teams.

Work Environment
