Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant for ProServe to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business goals.

You will work with customers to gather requirements, assess infrastructure, and propose migration strategies while mentoring teams. This hands-on role requires a strong software/systems engineering background and active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development lifecycle experience
• 5+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
• Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
• Experience in database (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Experience with automation or scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
• Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
