Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver cloud-native data platforms for omnichannel marketing in Irving, TX. You will set technical direction, define standards, and mentor engineers to build secure, reliable systems using Java, Python, Spark, Angular, and AWS.

Responsibilities include owning the SDLC, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving cost efficiency while ensuring scalable and observable implementations across distributed architectures.

Qualifications

5-8 years of software engineering with scalable UX-driven apps and distributed systems.
Designing and building REST APIs, microservices, and Kubernetes-based distributed systems.
Data Warehousing/Data Lakes/Delta Lake and modern big data ecosystem concepts.

Responsibilities

Deliver large-scale cloud-native data platforms on AWS using REST APIs and microservices.
Collaborate across stack with Java, Python, Spark, Angular, and AWS services.
Own the end-to-end SDLC including requirements, design, development, deployment, observability, and documentation.
