Job summary

Summa Health System seeks a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to drive design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions within healthcare compliance. The role optimizes cloud workflows, enforces RBAC security, and advances DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor team members, lead cost-efficiency initiatives, and partner across IT, Finance, and Leadership to translate technical excellence into measurable operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• ITIL 4 training (or equivalent).
• Five years in an IT role with hands-on cloud experience across public, private, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of cloud-based solutions while ensuring healthcare compliance.
• Mentor team on cloud practices, DevOps tools, and cost management.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Leadership to optimize workflows and security.
