InterImage is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance large Big-Data Cloud systems. You will contribute to backend processing, analysis, and indexing, using Java Spring Boot and AWS in a distributed Kubernetes environment.

Required are 12+ years in software engineering, a CS degree, and deep experience with cloud-based distributed computing, MapReduce-like analytics, and IR-capable data pipelines. Fort Meade, FL on-site role with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Twelve years of software engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's in CS or related field required; four years in Big-Data/cloud.
• Four years in cloud software engineering with Big-Data systems; Master can substitute for two years.
• Cloudera Hadoop Developer certification may substitute for one year of cloud experience.
• Deep Cloud/Distributed Computing experience and strong Java/Big Data skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance large Big-Data Cloud systems.
• Contribute to backend processing, analysis, and indexing across stages.
• Review and test components; document results and resolve issues.
• Provide input on system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and reuse.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions with distributed frameworks.
