Job summary

Invesco is seeking a senior data engineer to support advanced analytics and data integration for the North America Client Transactions & Data team. You will design, build, and manage large-scale data pipelines in a cloud environment, collaborating with business owners, product owners, analysts, and developers to deliver data products and analytics.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and big data architectures.
• 5-7 years of experience with Amazon AWS services (S3, RDS, Lambda, Glue, SNS, Terraform, etc.).
• 5-7 years of experience building data pipelines with Apache Airflow, Airbyte.
• Proficient in SQL and query optimization techniques (e.g., DBT).
• 3-5 years of Snowflake experience; Cortex AI and LLM prompt engineering a plus.
• Strong programming in Python; Linux/bash scripting; Ansible.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket or similar code repositories.
• Understanding of CI/CD automated deployments.

Responsibilities

• Managing application and data integration platforms using AWS Cloud Components.
• Building robust data pipelines in a modern cloud architecture.
• Enable end-to-end lifecycle of development/reporting/integration projects per Agile standards.
• Ensure data availability for business reporting within SLAs.
• Create architecture docs and design artifacts for data and applications.
• Maintain code and environment to evolve data-driven analytics capabilities.
• Write complex programs, design architectures, and enable automation.
