STAAR Surgical Company seeks an Enterprise Data Architect to design and build scalable data pipelines from Oracle Fusion to an enterprise cloud data warehouse. You will develop Power BI reports, semantic models, and Power Apps integrated with enterprise data, while collaborating with Finance, IT, and business teams in an Agile environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data quality, and delivering reliable cloud analytics solutions across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines that extract large volumes of data from Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and load them into an enterprise cloud data warehouse.
• Implement bulk and incremental extraction strategies, including appropriate Oracle Fusion extraction tools and methods; address scheduling, throughput, monitoring, and recovery.
• Build and maintain data models, SQL transformations, and reusable datasets for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Integrate additional enterprise applications and data sources as business needs expand.
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues; improve reliability of production integrations.
• Help expand the existing Snowflake and Fivetran environment, applying transferable experience from comparable cloud data warehouse and ETL/ELT platforms.
• Build and organize Power BI workspaces for development, testing, and production, including access, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, data connections, reports, and dashboards that are accurate, efficient, and easy to use.
• Develop and support Microsoft Power Apps connected to enterprise data and business processes.
• Use Power Automate and other integration capabilities where appropriate to support applications and reporting.
• Work directly with business users to translate requirements into practical reporting and application solutions.
