Job summary

Hashlist is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead architecture for cloud-native data platforms. You will drive data modernization and collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performing analytics capabilities using AWS, Databricks, and Spark.

The role requires 10+ years in data engineering or cloud architecture, hands-on Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Data Platforms
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, and Lake Formation
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and PySpark
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-native architecture patterns
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Bonus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Databricks Certified Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale data platforms using AWS, Databricks, and Spark
• Design data lakes, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-time data processing solutions
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and performance optimization initiatives
• Define best practices for data governance, security, reliability, and cost management
• Work with stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural leadership
