Job summary

VF Corporation in Greensboro, NC seeks a Senior Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team and drive containerization across multi‑cloud environments. You will guide self‑service infrastructure provisioning and governance, building automation and declarative templates.

You’ll lead CI/CD and containerization efforts with Kubernetes, Terraform, and related tools, mentoring engineers and shaping VF’s scalable infrastructure strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing and supporting cloud-based infrastructure on AWS/Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code.
• Strong DevOps and Agile process knowledge.
• Ability to guide multi-cloud containerization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultative resource for app teams for multi-cloud guidance.
• Build CIA process automation and tooling for self-service provisioning.
• Develop tools and scripts to drive automation and monitoring.
• Build declarative provisioning/config templates for self-service provisioning.
• Build governance, compliance & security as code templates.
• Design and build automated deployment frameworks (CI/CD) for multi-cloud.
• Architect VF’s Containerization Platforms in Kubernetes.
• Be the change agent for containerization across Cloud/on-premise.
• Manage source code and build artifacts for CI automation.
• Implement, manage & support tools for multi-cloud platforms.
• Mentor team members on cloud best practices & containerization.
• Research and communicate IaC solutions enterprise-wide.
