Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Cloud Engineer to lead cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will partner with ITG leaders, enterprise architects, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud services with strong governance and reliability.

You will drive infrastructure as code, disaster recovery planning, and cloud-agnostic design patterns while mentoring engineers and aligning with HCA policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Architect Certification preferred (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• 13+ years in IT architecture or related fields.
• Team lead experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of cloud architecture components and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud end-to-end architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Define and implement IaC patterns and automation.
• Collaborate with Security Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Oversee DR/HA design and cloud service delivery.
• Coach engineers on cloud best practices and governance.
• Migrate complex apps to public cloud and optimize operations.
