Job summary

AIS is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead enterprise-level infrastructure strategy and global architectures across multi‑region environments. You will shape scalable cloud foundations, orchestrate integrations, and mentor leaders while aligning with federal standards and strategic vendor partnerships.

The role requires extensive experience in cloud platforms, security, and governance, with a preference for TS/SCI clearance and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT/infrastructure leadership with relevant degrees or 4 extra years in lieu of a degree
• Active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert CISSP certifications
• Proficiency in cloud architecture design including networking, security, and scalability
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise infrastructure strategy and global architectures across multi-region environments
• Define cloud foundations, networking, and deployment strategies aligned with federal standards
• Mentor leaders, align stakeholders, and represent AIS in industry forums
• Advise executives on strategy and shape long-term technology direction and market influence
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and security teams to ensure resilient, cost-efficient cloud environments
