Job summary
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and sustain secure enterprise cloud solutions for a federal agency. You will lead migration from on-prem to Azure-based environments, ensuring continuity of operations across unclassified and classified domains with Zero Trust controls.
The role requires TS clearance eligibility, 8+ years in enterprise IT with 5+ years in cloud architecture, and strong collaboration with government stakeholders to align with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology engineering or related field.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI read-on eligibility prior to start.
- Minimum eight years of enterprise IT experience with at least five in cloud architecture.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud environments in government or regulated settings.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud deployments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design secure cloud solutions within a DoN VPC on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead migration from on-premises to cloud while maintaining mission continuity.
- Develop cloud architectures for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS domains with stakeholders.
- Design and maintain cloud networking IAM storage and compute aligned with Zero Trust.
- Integrate cybersecurity controls per RMF and DoW policies.
