Job summary

Talent Search PRO seeks a Lead Software Engineer/Cloud Architect in Melbourne, FL to design, build, and deploy scalable AWS-based solutions for mission-critical workloads. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work at Patrick Space Force Base, with a focus on secure, cost-efficient cloud architectures.

You will lead development teams, craft architectural roadmaps, and deliver detailed design documentation while engaging with customers to translate requirements into robust cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering with 9+ years of relevant experience, or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Security or equivalent DoD IAT Level II Certification required, or ability to obtain within 80 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective using AWS best practices and services.
• Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive architectural designs aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop roadmaps to guide implementation and evolution of cloud solutions.
• Produce detailed documentation to support design, development, and deployment processes.
• Deliver professional presentations to stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
• Adapt to support various mission areas, demonstrating commitment to mission success.
