Job summary

Capgemini Invent seeks an experienced Cloud Architecture leader to guide end-to-end cloud modernization for enterprise clients. You will define standards, drive multi-cloud strategies, and oversee DevOps, security, and cost optimization across large-scale engagements.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client-facing collaboration with C-suite stakeholders, and contribution to practice assets while mentoring junior consultants in a fast-growing AI-enabled transformation discipline.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in consulting or technology roles, including 3-5+ years in cloud architecture or cloud delivery.
• Proven track record leading cloud transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including core services, networking, security, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience with migration methodologies, hybrid cloud models, and multi-cloud strategies.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and platform engineering.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001); FinOps experience is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, including C-level audiences.
• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience); professional-level cloud architect certification

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture engagements, guiding clients through cloud adoption, migration, and modernization
• Design and present architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments
• Define architecture standards, reference patterns, and governance for enterprise-scale deployments
• Oversee delivery of infrastructure design, DevOps integration, security, and cost optimization
• Conduct cloud assessments and readiness evaluations, providing actionable recommendations and roadmaps
• Shape cloud architectures that enable data, analytics, and AI platforms
• Lead solution design and pre-sales activities, including proposals and client presentations
• Mentor consultants and contribute to practice assets and knowledge sharing
