Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Architect to join our client’s Cloud Engineering team in Fort Mill, SC, onsite. Define cloud strategy, reference architectures, and migration roadmaps for enterprise modernization with security and governance focus.

Lead landing zones, multi-region networks, and container/serverless designs (AWS preferred), partnering with security and development teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in architecture/engineering with at least 5 years focused on cloud solutions, preferably AWS.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise landing zones, multi-account structures, and secure network designs at scale.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with container platforms (EKS/ECS, Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop cloud strategy, reference architectures, and target-state blueprints to support enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Lead application portfolio assessments and develop modernization/migration roadmaps including rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies.
• Establish cloud governance policies, guardrails, and standards aligned with business and compliance requirements.
• Design and oversee enterprise landing zones, multi-region network topologies, and secure baseline patterns for compute, storage, and databases.
• Embed security by design, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI, while partnering with security teams to operationalize policies and incident response.

Our client, is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join their team. As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be part of the Cloud Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Role Summary: Senior Cloud Architect (Enterprise)

Location: Fort Mill South Carolina (Onsite) Duration: 5+ Months

What's the Job?
