Job summary

Lionh ires is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to drive secure-by-design practices across cloud infrastructure and microservices, spanning legacy data centers to AWS. You will own threat modeling automation and spearhead supply chain security within a high-scale environment.

You will partner with product, engineering, and security teams to harden deployments, implement robust security controls, and guide roadmaps for secure product engineering in a global context.

Qualifications

• Experience securing JavaScript/TypeScript applications in a microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD security tooling and IaC models (Terraform/Helm/CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Deep familiarity with Docker and service mesh technologies (Istio).
• Background in architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk mitigation in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture from cloud infrastructure to application layer with secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to scale the security controls platform ecosystem.
• Validate security implementations in infrastructure, deployment manifests, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Define policies and controls to protect global products and environments.
• Automate threat modeling to identify and mitigate application risks.
• Oversee security strategy for migrating legacy workloads to AWS.
