Job summary

Amazon's Cloud Data Services team in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Cloud Hardware Development Engineer to own end-to-end accelerator (AI/ML/GPU) server platforms, from NPI through fleet health. You will lead design, qualification, and deployment of scalable AI/server systems, working with ODMs and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective hardware for AWS data centers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent).
2+ years hardware design, development and validation for server or compute platforms.
Experience in thermal/mechanical design, power delivery, high-speed signal integrity, or accelerator subsystems.
Experience developing functional specs, design verification plans, and validation procedures.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end NPI lifecycle for accelerator server platforms from architecture to launch.
Lead solutions for complex server and rack architectural challenges.
Collaborate with ODMs and manufacturing partners to scale production.
Develop specs, verification plans, and test procedures.
Drive readiness milestones to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Own fleet health and drive zero-touch operations with telemetry and diagnostics.
