Job summary

BMO is seeking a Senior Cloud, AI & Data Security Engineer to design and implement security across AWS, Azure, and AI/ML platforms. You will drive security patterns, CI/CD integration, and leadership-level risk guidance, balancing security with operability in complex cloud environments.

You will lead protection for data and AI systems, collaborate with data science teams, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements in a fast-moving, security‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field.
• 7–10 years of security architecture/engineering experience across cloud, data, and/or AI security.
• Security certifications (CISSP/CCSP/CCSK or Cloud Security specialties).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate security controls for AWS and Azure.
• Define security patterns, roadmaps, and operating models.
• Advise leadership on AI risk and data privacy.
• Lead security assessments across cloud, data, and AI platforms.
