Job summary

Knox Systems is hiring a Cloud Administrator to secure, build, and operate multi‑cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP including government regions. You will manage IAM, design secure networks, and keep systems hardened to DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks while ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST and DoD guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience administering cloud infrastructure in two or more providers.
• Experience operating in government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov, GCP Assured Workloads).
• Expertise in cloud IAM (SSO, MFA, least privilege, access reviews).
• Experience designing secure cloud networks and encryption key management with FIPS 140-validated services.
• Experience hardening systems to DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks; drift monitoring with AWS Config/Azure Policy/GCP Security Command Center.

Responsibilities

• Manage IAM across AWS, Azure Entra ID, and GCP IAM including SSO and MFA.
• Design secure networks and manage encryption keys with KMS, VPCs/VNets, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute.
• Harden systems to DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks; monitor drift and patch by risk.
• Operate within FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53/171, CMMC, and IL5 DoD SRG requirements.
• Build and run infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP government regions.
• Automate with PowerShell, Bash, Python; use Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bicep.
• Sends logs to SIEM and supports incident response.
