Job summary

Sienna Systems Corporation seeks a Cloud Systems Administrator to join the SSA Special Notice Option (SNO) team in Alexandria, VA. You will own AWS cloud infrastructure and AD, working on-site with government IT staff to automate and harden the environment.

You will manage end-to-end systems, implement security patches, backups, and lifecycle replacements, and drive improvements with scripting. Strong AWS and AD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination.
• 2+ years of cloud computing administration experience.
• 7+ years of systems administration experience.
• Experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, AMI, GuardDuty, Bastion, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SSM, Config.
• Extensive Active Directory design, deployment and management with GPOs and ADFS.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, IIS and SQL Server.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Design, deploy, and manage Active Directory including AD integration.
• Manage virtualized environments and OS/app virtualization.
• Analyze, design, and deploy systems in a complex environment.
• Provide operations and maintenance including patching, backups, and lifecycle upgrades.
• Develop automated approaches and write scripts.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity reporting.
• Remediate security findings with the IA team.
• Provide Tier III support and lead recovery from failures.
• Document configurations and transfer knowledge to the project team.
