Job summary

Siepe is seeking an experienced professional for the CLO Compliance Analysis team in Houston. The role focuses on executing operational objectives, modeling compliance tests, and interpreting complex legal documents to build accurate financial models.

You will collaborate with product groups and deliver client-focused data, reporting, and analytics, while mentoring junior analysts and developing training materials. A strong business acumen and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in financial modeling, CLO compliance, or related analytical roles.
• Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents in order to create calculations for financial models.
• Advanced knowledge of CLO compliance calculations and financial modeling.
• Experienced with CDO/CLO waterfall calculations and/or borrowing base calculations.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Model compliance tests as defined in legal documents onto in-house systems.
• Interpret legal documents including indentures and credit agreements.
• Create waterfall calculations as well as borrowing base calculations according to legal documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and modeling differences.
• Create innovative solutions based upon understanding of clients’ needs, market conditions, and/or technical expertise.
• Lead client-specific projects to ensure timely and quality delivery of models.
• Train and share knowledge with junior analysts.
• Create training and procedural documents.
