Job summary

Care Access in Houston, TX is seeking a Principal Investigator to oversee all clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, company processes, and GCP.

You will provide medical oversight, train staff, ensure participant safety, and ensure regulatory compliance across site activities. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring MD/DO and PI experience with collaboration with sponsors.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• Minimum experience as Principal Investigator; 2 years PI or Sub-Investigator preferred.
• Training and certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and review of protocols in conformance with good clinical practice.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all participants at the trial site.
• Perform physical assessments and study procedures as required by study protocols.
• Train Sub-Investigators and staff; provide protocol support and issue clarifications.
• Review inclusion/exclusion criteria and investigational product use with the research team.
• Complete necessary Care Access trainings and comply with ICH GCP regulations.
• Participate in monitoring visits and sponsor meetings; support audits.
