Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Administrator to support the Head, Neck and Thyroid Research Unit. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a varied portfolio of clinical studies in line with GCP and SOPs.

The role requires organisation, independence and teamwork, with strong administrative and IT skills. Applicants should be prepared to supervise CTAs and contribute to service improvements across Sutton and Chelsea sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting delivery of clinical trials and GCP understanding.
• Extensive data entry and data management experience.
• Ability to supervise CTAs and manage workload.
• Strong communication, administrative and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical research team with study administration to ensure delivery of clinical trials and studies per GCP, SOPs, policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into database systems.
• Work with the clinical team to resolve data queries promptly.
• Supervise CTAs daily, overseeing workload and ensuring data management meets SOPs and regulations.
• Provide regular reports on data activity and highlight concerns.
• Manage a small portfolio of low risk studies (if applicable).
