Qualifications

• Licensed professionals (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Two years post-licensure experience in psychiatric/mental health setting
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Supervisory/lead experience

Responsibilities

• Provide extensive clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians within licensure scope
• Monitor fidelity and provide coaching for evidence-based treatment models
• Develop mental health training curriculum and conduct trainings for staff
• Conduct clinical and quality improvement chart audits
• Coordinate clinical decisions in response to operational demands
• Conduct clinical discussions on complex cases
• Act as casework consultant to clinicians and staff
• Guide volunteers and staff
• Liaise with other sections, units, services and agencies
• Participate in mental health conferences and local area committees
• Interview consumers and families to gather data for assessments
• Develop service plans and evaluate diverse needs
• Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists and other staff on treatment plans
• Assist consumers and families in understanding treatment options
• Initiate and conduct individual, collateral, group and family therapy sessions
• Perform duties including involuntary hospitalization procedures and Tarasoff assessments
• Maintain contact with local mental health resources
• Prepare reports and correspondence
• Respond to emergencies within licensure
• Ensure continuity of treatment data across shifts
