Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego seeks an Associate Director, Clinical Science to advance clinical development and lifecycle activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to design trials, analyze translational and clinical data, and present results while ensuring GCP compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD/MD/PharmD with 4+ years in pharma, preferably in rare diseases, and can contribute to INDs, NDAs, and regulatory interactions. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD or MD in a life science discipline is required, with related pharma experience.
• 4+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in rare diseases.
• Experience supporting clinical trials and data analyses is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical science components of assigned study plans and contribute to protocol design and data analyses.
• Review and summarize safety and efficacy data from trials for discussions with the team.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and documentation across study teams.
• Support study conduct in line with GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review clinical reports, presentations, and ClinicalTrials.gov summaries.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and associated documents (INDs/NDAs/BLAs).
• Build relationships with alliance partners, investigators, and key opinion leaders.
• Contribute to manuscripts and scientific presentations.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
