Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of nursing (RN) experience preferred.
• Virginia RN license or compact license to practice in Virginia required.
• AHA BLS Provider certification required.
• Advanced life support certifications (ACLS, PALS) as applicable to specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individualized patient assessments and prioritizes data collection based on patient condition.
• Develops, modifies, and implements an individualized care plan in coordination with the medical plan and other disciplines.
• Performs treatments and nursing interventions as ordered, ensuring timely and accurate care.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts the interdisciplinary care plan to improve outcomes.
• Provides patient and family education and supports decisions in care planning.
