Job summary

The University of Chicago's Office of Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to lead a team performing clinical trials data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will guide regulatory compliance, IRB filings, and staff training across the Research Incubation Unit.

Responsibilities include overseeing lifecycle processes, coordinating meetings, and partnering with sponsors and CROs to ensure compliant, timely study execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in clinical research or a related field.
• ACRP/SOCRA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental portfolio across the lifecycle from feasibility to close-out.
• Coordinate departmental clinical research staff and faculty meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and IRB filings for projects.
• Establish documentation standards and SOPs for review and feasibility.
• Lead training and onboarding of research staff in GCP, CFRs and divisional policies.
• Manage and supervise Research Incubator staff and PI leadership relationships.
