Barrington James seeks an experienced Clinical Research Principal Investigator to lead and oversee clinical research studies within our organization.

The PI will provide medical and scientific oversight across the study lifecycle, ensure GCP and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, labs, and study teams to deliver high-quality clinical research focused on patient safety and rigorous data integrity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or related specialty preferred.
• Current medical licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
• Prior PI or Sub-I experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ICH-GCP and clinical trial regulations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Principal Investigator for assigned clinical research studies.
• Provide medical and scientific oversight throughout the study lifecycle.
• Assess and recruit patients per study protocols.
• Conduct or oversee medical assessments and clinical decision-making.
• Ensure participant safety and AE/SAE management.
• Review and document clinical data accurately and timely.
• Ensure protocol, GCP, regulatory compliance, and procedures.
• Collaborate with coordinators, sponsors, CROs, labs, pharmacies.
• Participate in investigator meetings and site visits as required.
• Provide clinical guidance to research staff.
• Review and approve study documentation and data.
• Communicate study progress and safety with sponsors.
