Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a research & laboratory coordinator to support multiple clinical studies. In this role, you will work under investigators with limited supervision, coordinating participant interaction, data management, and regulatory tasks.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a medical or science-related field and at least 2 years of clinical research experience. CPR/CPR AED may be required; some certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical research experience.
• CPR/CPR AED may be required.
• ACRP or SOCRA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly interacts with clinical research participants, via telephone, telehealth or in-person.
• Coordinates regulatory documentation for research studies to comply with industry standards and policies.
• Schedules procedures as per research study with PI oversight where needed.
• Screens, recruits, enrolls and follows subjects according to protocol guidelines.
• Maintains data collection information and develops CRFs or data collection tools.
• Assists in developing and implementing research studies and writing protocols.
• Performs protocol-driven research procedures with proper training.
• May assist PI with fiscal management including budget preparation.
• Monitors patient safety and proper reporting per HRPP standards.
• Coordinates data management for national or multiple studies, as assigned.
• Prepares annual reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
• Prepares IRB submissions and amendments, continuing review documents.
• Provides in-service training to study team members.
