Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a highly productive Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee and coordinate complex studies, including industry-sponsored, federally funded, and investigator-initiated trials.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, grant support, and effective team leadership. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to protect human subjects and ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Optional SOCRA/ACRP certification.

Responsibilities

• May perform duties inclusive of those delegated to a Clinical Research Coordinator II.
• Develops case report forms, questionnaires, and research techniques.
• Reviews and approves billing matrix calendars for studies.
• Manages all phases of study/protocol lifecycle with SOPs and regulatory requirements; monitors progress.
• Provides guidance to the research team; may train staff and supervise coordinators.
