Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with at least one year of independent monitoring experience for a homebased role in the United States. You will perform site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits, ensuring regulatory compliance and high data quality while supporting study deliverables.

This position requires strong communication, computer literacy, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75% on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (performed on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP) and protocol compliance.
• Verifies the process of obtaining informed consent and protects subject confidentiality; assesses safety and data integrity at investigator sites.
• Reconciles ISF with TMF, ensures archiving of essential documents; supports audit readiness and site training.
• Manages IP inventory, labeling, storage, and release according to protocol; monitors IP dispatch and administration.
• Maintains data capture quality; conducts source data verification and query resolution within timelines.
